Are you REALLY networking on Facebook?

If you're simply just posting on Facebook, you're doing it all wrong! Are you networking on your Facebook page? Are you sharing your posts in local groups, networking groups and industry groups? For example, if you're a realtor they have hundreds, even thousands of groups on Facebook. Join all of the groups that would benefit you from networking. When you share your post on Facebook, make sure you are truly using all the organic advertising you can.

Here are some suggestions:

  1. Share your post on your personal Facebook page

  2. Share your post in several Facebook groups.

  3. Ask your friends, co-workers & family to share your posts.

  4. Check-In to your business when you post (and as often as possible).

  5. Ask your clients, customers & staff to Check-In at your business when they are there. Do giveaways and offers for people that Check-In.

  6. Ask your clients to review/recommend you on Facebook.

  7. Share your reviews on your business Facebook page & your personal page 2-5 times a month.

  8. Support other businesses. Are you in a small downtown section of town? Support the other businesses in your area. Comment as your business on their pages. Share their news, specials & updates. Support eachother and work together. We are stronger together!

Are you networking as your business AND as yourself? For example, did you know that you can comment as your business? Do you have clients in your industry? Comment as your business instead of yourself on their pages. Be seen as your business to boost your branding. If you are simply posting on Facebook and walking away... your doing it all wrong.
